Just arrived our brand new Valiani Jumbo mount cutter direct from Italy.
This now gives us two computer driven mount cutters with the new up-dated version being able to cut up to 4mm thick board.
Once installed we will be having a two day training course with the new soft ware and when the new Valiani is up and running we plan to offer trade mount cutting to the picture framing industry as well as our regular private customer base.

10 May 2013Another completed project for our friends at Paul Smith Ltd. This was a job from the merchandising department to stretch up a Dye-Sublimation canvas in one piece six meters by almost three meters high for the head office showroom in Covent Garden.

I have found Custom Frames to be friendly and obliging whether I have ordered a single frame/canvas or a bulk order for an exhibition. When I was commissioned to paint 7 canvasses to completely cover the gable end wall of a converted barn, Custom Frames visited the client to measure and design the canvasses which were all different shapes, only one of which was a straightforward rectangle and this was so large it needed to be hinged in order to get it into the house. When the paintings were completed Custom Frames carried out the task of installing the canvasses which fitted the wall perfectly. I was delighted with the result and more importantly, so was my client. Having dealt with them for over 10 years I am happy to recommend Custom Frames.
